Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is an Indian film composer who is regarded as one of the finest music composers in the world. He is the only composer in cinema history to compose more than 5000 songs and compose film scores for more than 1000 films solo, particularly being acclaimed for his background scores. However, 'Love & Love Only' is the first ever English movie for which he has composed original songs and the complete score.

He is a recepient of the Padma Vibushan Award by the President of India, the second highest civilian award in India. In 1993 he organised a full symphony performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London and thus became the first Indian to compose a full symphony. He is also the first Asian to compose a full symphony performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He is the only Indian composer to  win five Indian National Film Awards (the highest film honor in India).

 

Julian Karikalan, the man behind the film, wore multiple hats in this production including color grading and lyrics writing, along with writing, directing, producing and editing the film. A media producer with Corrective Services NSW during the day, Julian managed to make this feature film exclusively during evenings and weekends. 

He had a vision to explore an innovative, cost-effective film production methodology that would be personally affordable., and would give an enjoyable/memorable movie experience to the audience, without compromising production values. A tough task as it sounds, he managed to successfully direct the team to achieve the expected outcome. 

Dion Wilton (Cinematographer)

Dion Wilton is an Australian cinematographer with more than 20 years experience in various formats. When many other industry professionals doubted the production methodology proposed by Julian, Dion confidently accepted the challenge and was a huge asset in making things happen. Thus, he became a perfect fit to the team. Through his expertise, he has made this micro-budget movie look and feel mainstream.

Rachael Leahcar, is an Australian singer and songwriter, born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. Rachael was born with retinitis pigmentosa and legally blind with only 10% visual function. She found her love of music at a very early age and has been singing and playing instruments ever since. She participated on the first season of The Voice Australia, coming in third place. Shortly after, she signed a record deal with Universal Music Australia.

Brent Heber (Sound Designer)

With a 20 year history of working in audio behind him, Brent Heber is one of Australia's best known Pro Tools experts. As an award winning mixer, Brent's credits include films that have screened at Cannes and winners at the Sydney Film Festival, IF awards, Santa Barbara International, MFF, St Kilda Festival and many others.
